No slide, Optic or iron sights are included with this service order. NCEngravers will not be responsible for sight damage during disassembly. SW sights can be damaged during the removal process. If we damage the sight(s) they will be bagged and not reinstalled. We will not replace or reimburse for these damaged sights as this is a common problem during the removal process. You are more than welcome to remove the sights prior to processing the order.

Services are only offered on the Carry Comp model only.

• This service is for a factory SW Carry Comp slide

• We have this exact weapon for testing so we don’t need the slide for the work. We only need the barrel and if you are using an aftermarket spring please provide that along with the barrel so we can test.

• Cerakote is offered but not required as these are stainless slides and no slide cut work in needed for this project.

• This service includes the disassemble and reassembly of your slide (assuming we are doing slide work)

• The barrel will not need to be recoated once it has been ported and it will come back black

• Current turnaround time for this service is 2-3 business days. Additional services such as other cutwork, slide coatings, specialty coatings, engravings, added parts coatings, and multiple orders will extend this turnaround time.

• On the 9mm the 124gr ammo is an industry standard for ported weapons, and we do recommend using it. However, most other ammo should cycle with our style porting. Keep in mind the market offers a wider variety of ammo and we can’t guarantee all ammo will cycle with 100% reliability and this is due to specialty ammo, old ammo, reloaded ammo, other things that may change the reliability can be upgraded or non-OEM recoil springs as our porting is designed around the factory barrel and spring.
