Q: Where do I ship my items being serviced?

Q: I am local, can I drop off and pick up my order instead of shipping?

A: Yes, at checkout be sure to select $0 shipping for Local Drop Off/Pick Up. Once you check out send us an email to schedule an appointment.

Q: What is the turnaround time for work?

A: Turnaround time depends on the work you are getting done. (Time is extended during sale times)

IE: Optic Cut & Single Color Cerakote Service: 2-3 Business day turnaround from when we receive your slide.

Frame Stippling - Up to 3-5 weeks from when we receive it

Barrel Coatings - Up to 3-5 weeks from when we receive it

Q: What shipping method do we use?

A: We use USPS Priority with Signature Confirmation for our return shipping. If you would like it shipped a different way, we give an option at check out to provide your own return shipping label. *Please note if you provide your own shipping label we are not responsible for the package once it has been scanned in by your selected shipping provider* TRACKING NUMBER MUST BE INCLUDED WITH CUSTOMER PROVIDED RETURN SHIPPING LABEL. NO STAMPS MAY BE USED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL POSTAGE ON CUSTOMER PROVIDED LABELS.

NCEngravers requires signature confirmation on packages that we ship out with shipping purchased from us, we are NOT responsible for any issues if someone signs for the package at your provided shipping address.

Q: How much is return shipping?

A: $15 - Items 7” or less

   $18 - Items over 7” and/or optic boxes returned

   $40 – FFL Items, Full Guns, & If you ship in a Gun Case or Box.

*If you select the incorrect amount, you will be invoiced for the difference*

Q: Do we provide a shipping label and/or box for you to ship to us?

A: No, we do not. We want you to use the best and most convenient shipping method for you.

Q: What do I send when shipping to NCEngravers?

A: We ask that you send only what we are working on. Feel free to ship any new sights you would like installed or an optic you would like installed.

Q: What happens if iron sights are damaged during assembly or disassembly?

A: No iron sights are included with our services. NCEngravers will not be responsible for sight damage during disassembly/reassembly. Sights can be tight and can sometimes be damaged during the removal/reinstall process. If we damage the sight(s) they will be bagged and not reinstalled. We will not replace or reimburse for damaged sights as this is a common problem during the removal/reinstall process.

Q: How much do you charge to install optics and new sights?

A: We do not charge anything to install your optic. Sight install is no charge except for these brands (Sig, Springfield, 1911’s)

Q: Do I need to full disassemble my slide for service work?

A: Most all our services include disassembly and reassembly.

Q: How do I get a custom slide done?

A: Send us an email – service@ncengravers.com *Please note not all services you want can/will be done on a custom build. Most custom builds are your idea but our creation.

A: No, we do not stock hardware.

Q: Do you cut pegs with optic cuts?

A: No, we do not cut for the pegs as we cut the slide to match the radius of the optic for a tight fit.

Q: Is there a minimum color cost?

A: Yes, we have a minimum cost of $25 coloring cost due to time involved cleaning up the part as well as the cerakote product being used.
