Glock - Barrel Porting Service
Glock - Barrel Porting Service
$200.00
No slide, Optic or Iron Sights are included with this service order. NCEngravers will not be responsible for sight damage during disassembly. Factory metal and aftermarket Glock sights are known for being tightly fitted and can be damaged during the removal process due to thread locker. If we damage the sight(s) (you will be notified) and they will be bagged and not reinstalled. We will not replace or reimburse for these damaged sights as this is a common problem with the Springfield model slides. Feel free to remove the sights prior to shipping if you have the time and tools.
This service is offered on your provided factory slide/barrel only.
This service is offered on several different model glock slides. During the checkout process you can select your model glock.
Single Color Slide Cerakote is required with this service and it is free.
This service includes the disassemble and reassembly of your slide.
The barrel will need to be cerakote colored once it been ported. Black is all that is offered and it is a free service
This service is not offered on any threaded barrels or aftermarket barrels. Must be a non-threaded factory barrel.
Because some of the supported glock models are shorter they may have 3 ports like on a G43/43x and on the longer model slides the ports may be pushed to one end or the other instead of the middle of the top window. This is to keep the hot gases off the front sight.
We recommend replacing the factory plastic sight with an all black steel sight.. The shorter in length the better to keep it from hanging into the port window.
We recommend you review current samples of the colors we provide. These will be the exact colors you can select during checkout. Those samples can be found here>>> COLOR SAMPLES <<<

Current turnaround time for this service is 4-7 business days. Additional services such as other cutwork, specialty coatings, engravings, added parts coatings, and multiple orders will extend this turnaround time.
124gr (9mm) or 180gr (.40sw) FMJ ammo is an industry standard, and we do recommend using it. However, most other ammo should cycle with our style porting. Keep in mind the market offers a wider variety of ammo and we can’t guarantee all ammo will cycle with 100% reliability and this is due to specialty ammo, old ammo, reloaded ammo, other things that may change the reliability can be upgraded or non-OEM recoil springs as our porting is designed around the factory barrel and spring.
Our style of porting on this weapon is forward facing and that means the hot gas is pointed towards the front sight. We do recommend using a front steel black sight and not Fiber Optic or Tritium as it my damage those types of iron sight.
Due to the nature of porting the hot gas is exiting the ports and will cause black powder on slide port window and in some cases may stick to the top of the slide. we recommend cleaning this from time to time as needed along with your regular cleaning/lube cycle.function testing video ———— Shooting Video————
