• No Barrel or Slide coating is required with this service.

• This service is offered on your provided parts. You must ship in the slide and we do recommend providing both springs (these weapons come factory with 2 springs) so we can test the weapon once it has been ported.

• This service is not offered on any threaded barrels or aftermarket barrels. Must be the factory barrel with comp.

• Current turnaround time for this service is 2-3 business days. Additional services such as other cutwork, specialty coatings, engravings, added parts coatings, and multiple orders will extend this turnaround time.

• 124gr FMJ ammo is an industry standard, and we do recommend using it. However, most other ammo should cycle with our style porting. Keep in mind the market offers a wider variety of ammo and we can’t guarantee all ammo will cycle with 100% reliability and this is due to specialty ammo, old ammo, reloaded ammo, other things that may change the reliability can be upgraded or non-OEM recoil springs as our porting is designed around the factory barrel and spring.

• Our style of porting on this weapon is straight out the top. So most of the hot gas should stay off the front factory sight.

• To achieve the 4 ports design we merge the top 2 windows into a single window. That means in the cut area raw metal (silver) will be seen. typically this turns black very quickly due to the hot gas exiting the ports. We do not recommend doing a coat job on these weapons unless you plan on doing a full job (comp, slide, optic cover place) and in that case any factory engravings will be the same color as the slide once coated.

• Because the slide will be in a CNC vise while being cut to merge the top windows damage could happen. We will tape the slide to reduce the chances of damaging the factory finish but wont replace or repair any slide that has cerakote damage. We have no way of repairing or replacing the factory finish. NCEngraves will not be held responsible for any factory coating damage.

• Due to the nature of porting the hot gas is exiting the ports and will cause black powder on slide port window and in some cases may stick to the top of the slide. we recommend cleaning this from time to time as needed along with your regular cleaning/lube cycle.
