This service is only offered on your provided 1911 (5” full sized slide)

No slide, Optic or Iron Sights are included with this service order. NCEngravers will not be responsible for any sight damage during disassembly. Due to many different manufacturers, 1911 sights are known for being tightly fitted from the factory and can be damaged during the removal process. If we damage the sight(s) you will be notified and they will be bagged and not reinstalled. We will not replace or reimburse for these damaged sights as this can be a problem with the 1911 model slides.

More details about the service offered:

• Single Color Cerakote is required with this service as the factory finish will be removed during the process

• This service includes the disassemble and reassembly of your slide. Please send the complete slide minus the spring and barrel.

• Factory rear sight dovetail will be removed if we are doing an optic cut. (We will ship back the factory rear sight)

• If we are doing an optic cut you must provide the optic and screws at the time of work. We will not start the work until we have all the parts for the project.

• If your optic model uses a RMSC socket but is not on our supported optic list then it is not offered. This is due to some optics using different screws or being to short and once we remove the dovetail the optic isn’t tall enough to work with the front sight.

• Some slides are stainless and if you would like to keep the factory look please add the “Satin Upgrade” to your cart from here This may not be an exact match to the factory finish but should be very close for most manufacturers.

• This service is for the full-sized Model slides and if we are doing an optic cut it must be a Series 70 and Not a Series 80 model slide.

• If your slide has front serrations the raptor cuts may cut into these

• If you have text on the slide, we will do our best to not cut into factory text but due to the difference on how they are made we may hit this text.

• If you have a Tri-top or flat top slide raptor cuts is not offered.

• Please ask if you have any questions BEFORE processing your order. If we receive your slide and the work can’t be done because the slide does not support the work, you will need to purchase a return shipping label as we will not cover the return shipping. We suggest you ask any/all questions before processing your order to prevent any miscommunication.

• This service is not offered on STI/Staccato/Bul Armory/Sig Sauer/Dan Wesson/Wilson Combat models

• This optic service is NOT OFFERED on ANY 10MM Slides
